This Privacy Policy describes how SlideDM ("we", "us", or "our"), operated by Rigmasters Technology, collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you use our Instagram DM automation platform. We aim to handle your data responsibly and in line with applicable Indian privacy and data-protection requirements.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information: When you sign up, we collect information such as your name, email address, authentication account identifiers, workspace details, and Instagram account information provided through Meta's OAuth flow.
  • Instagram data: With your authorisation, we access Instagram usernames, profile details, comments, commenter metadata made available by Meta, synced post information, automation delivery results, and direct-message context necessary to deliver the Service.
  • Payment information: Payment processing is handled by Razorpay for India pricing and Stripe for international pricing. We do not store full card details on our own servers.
  • Usage data: We collect information about how you interact with the Service, such as features used, automations created, DMs sent, browser type, IP address, device information, and access timestamps.
  • Communication data: If you contact support, we retain records of those communications and attachments you send us.

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain SlideDM, including Instagram connectivity and automation delivery.
  • Process subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and billing support.

  • Monitor usage trends, improve the product, and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, and security incidents.

3. Instagram API data usage

Our use of Instagram data received through Meta's APIs is limited to delivering the functionality you authorise. In particular:

  • We access comments and messaging context only to execute the automations you configure.
  • We store Instagram-related data only as needed for account sync, delivery, analytics, support, and compliance.
  • We do not share Instagram data with third parties except where needed to operate the Service or where required by law.
  • We comply with Meta's Platform Terms and Data Use policies and may update our practices if Meta changes its rules or access model.

4. Data storage and security

Your data is stored using reputable infrastructure providers. We use industry-standard safeguards such as encryption in transit, access controls, secret management, and ongoing security review. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the Service, preserve automation history, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise personal data within 30 days unless retention is required by law or necessary for legitimate business purposes.

We may share information in the following circumstances:

  • Payment processing: With Razorpay or Stripe to process subscriptions and billing events.
  • Service providers: With hosting, database, analytics, logging, support, and infrastructure vendors that help us operate SlideDM.

  • Safety: To protect the rights, safety, or property of SlideDM, our users, or the public.
  • Business transfer: In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

We use essential cookies and similar technologies to maintain login sessions, keep the product working, and understand how the Service is used. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings, but disabling essential cookies may break core parts of the product.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not operated by us. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties and encourage you to review their policies separately.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or through a notice in the product before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after an updated policy takes effect means you accept the revised version.
