This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be available for SlideDM subscriptions, how to request one, and what happens after approval.

Overview

At SlideDM, we want every creator to feel confident in their subscription. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be available for our paid plans.

The short version: first-time paid subscribers can request a full refund within 48 hours of the initial charge if the Service does not meet expectations. After 48 hours, refunds are considered only in limited exceptional situations. Approved refunds are sent back to the original payment method.

1. 48-hour refund window

If you are subscribing to a paid SlideDM plan for the first time, you are eligible for a full refund within 48 hours of your initial payment date. This applies to Starter at ₹690/month, Pro Monthly at ₹999/month, and Pro Annual at ₹9,588/year billed in advance for India pricing. International pricing follows the same first-time 48-hour policy at the then-current price shown on /pricing.

To request a refund within this window, email support@slidedm.app with the subject line "Refund Request" and include your registered email address.

2. Refunds after 48 hours

After the initial 48-hour period, refunds are generally not available because SlideDM is a digital subscription service that is consumed on delivery. We may, however, review refunds in the following exceptional circumstances:

Each case is reviewed individually, and a decision is usually communicated within 5 business days of receiving your request.

  • Service outage: if the Service is unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours due to issues on our side and not because of Meta or Instagram platform changes.
  • Duplicate payment: if you were charged more than once for the same billing period due to a payment-processing error.
  • Unauthorised transaction: if a charge was made without your authorisation. You may also need to raise the issue with your bank or payment provider.

3. Annual plan refunds

For the Pro Annual plan:

  • After the 48-hour window for first-time subscribers has passed.
  • The same 48-hour full-refund window applies from the date of the annual payment.
  • After 48 hours, you will not be eligible for a partial or prorated refund for the remaining months, but you may still cancel renewal so the subscription does not bill again.

4. Starter plan

The Starter plan is billed monthly. Refund eligibility follows the same 48-hour first-time subscriber window described above. After 48 hours, no refund is available for the current billing cycle, but you may cancel renewal at any time to avoid future charges.

5. Refund processing

Approved refunds are processed through the original payment method used for your SlideDM subscription, such as the Razorpay-backed recurring subscription payment method used in India or the Stripe payment method used outside India.

Refunds typically take 5 to 7 business days to reflect, although the exact timeline depends on your bank or payment provider.

6. Non-refundable situations

Refunds are generally not provided in the following cases:

  • Violation of our /terms leading to account suspension or termination.
  • Changes to Meta or Instagram APIs, permissions, or policies that affect feature availability and are outside our control.
  • Failure to use the Service or take advantage of its features during the active subscription period.
  • Dissatisfaction caused primarily by user error in configuring automations.
  • Forgetting to cancel a recurring subscription before the next billing cycle starts.

7. How to request a refund

To initiate a refund request, email support@slidedm.app with:

We aim to acknowledge your request within 48 hours and communicate our decision within 5 business days.

  • your registered email address,
  • the date of payment,
  • the reason for the refund request, and
  • the transaction ID or payment reference, if available.
